So how does this one for $300 beat the Amazon price of $299.99? Not that great a deal when its on Amazon all day at this price.

Not really that great of a tablet. Acer and Asus both have better options.
IMO if you can live with a 7" tab, nothing beats the Nexus 7... it is awesome
I think in the near future these thing are gonna take off... and start coming with a keyboard as standard issue
With so many manufacturers going to Quad Core processors might was well hold out for one of those, I got a quad core Toshiba for $300 last month at Best Buy
good deal on that quad..... unfortunately, I can't hold off... kids want presents ya know... haha
The dealer has raised the price back to $399. Which means $289 will be the lowest price you will see for a while as Samsung won't go below that as a vendor. For this size, after iPad, all the other tablets are same, Samsung or ASUS.
