This thing got horrible reviews on Amazon. You have a lot of choices from Flip to Sony for less than $150. There is just no excuse for buying a two star camera from Amazon. People are saying that it is completely unusable.
I also remain unconvinced that any of these flat, mini camcorders can do 1080p. The quality is no better than other micro-camcorders doing 720p. The optics and sensor are just too small and you end up with a nice 1080p number for marketing but the user gets stuck with a larger file that might as well be 720p.
BTW, if you can go a little bigger, the Sanyo Xactis have 5x optical zoom and much better low-light performance. If you do get an Xacti, do yourself a favor and turn off the digital image stabilization. It doesn't stabilize the image that much but it uses more battery power and muddies the image. Heard the same thing about the Kodak.
How does this compare to the Canon Powershot SD1100?
