Never been a big fan of the Samsung digital cameras, I've seen several people have trouble with them.
cameras are cheap now a days. $130 8.2mp that's great
8.2 MP + tiny lens = mediocore
is this pink or red? sears seems to have only the one color

I'll go for canon.
to be honest, all samsung cameras suck so dont go with it
have to agree with most here. canon's either the lithum ion line or the AA battery line are the way to go for a basic consumer camera.

For the same price you can pickup an entry level Canon model that will last longer and take better photos.
