This tv will be $598 on black friday at multiple stores.
Actually, not this TV. The model that will be $598 is the LN40B500. Not sure how similar that is to the 550. Who knows, it may have the same specs. That would be nice!
This model will retired soon since 120Hz will be all model standard feature next year.
My bad.
I am guessing that the ln40b500 is a temporary/holiday model. Last year everyone had the ln32b300 on sale for $499, there was no record of a ln32b300 until blackfriday. the ln32b330 was the next higher model. I doubt the specs are that far off. just remember that you get what you pay for.
#3, do you have proof of that? its almost "next year" and I dont see any evidence that ALL models will be at least 120hz.
