Great printer for the money. Doesn't do envelopes very well - no straight through paper path. Great for general business printing. Also, with OEM toner at $99.99, why not just buy a new printer and recoup some return through flea-bay or craig's.

Is there a code for the free shipping? It shows as $2 (which is pretty good for a printer).

I have this hooked to a network print server and so far it works great. I'd recommend it.

#4 once you get through the crap cartridge it comes with, it seems like a lot. They say 3000 but I have not counted. The cheaper cartridges (or refills) seem to work fine but I imagine they vary.

I also have one of these connected to a cheap D-Link USB print server. Works great!

My only problem is I can't find a driver that will work with Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64, but that isn't a big deal for me yet.

#1, primarily because I believe this comes with a starter toner cartridge which only prints 2500 to 3000 pages. Not bad but... I actually have the netwrokable version of this and it has worked great for the last several years. While not a current model, still a good printer. And yes, it is great for general printing tasks. Lots cheaper than an ink jet...

Got some $30-ish cartridges through a Froogle search, and they work fine for this.

The funny thing is, I got this printer for $25 at the end of year sales last year, so just wait a few months for the sales to start.

#5, same problem here, I keep getting this "RPC server unavailable" with win xp 64, seems it's a bug they don't want to bother themselves with... I'm so pissed that I have to go to my laptop to do all the printing.
