very nice. has both usb and parallel connections. I wonder if you could hook it to 2 computers at once. it uses lots of power when switching on to print for a second, you might want to hook it to a UPS or put it on a different circuit than your computer. in standby it only uses 3 watts. very fast for printing multiple pages.
No cable kills the deal.
#1, putting a laser on a UPS is a good way to kill the UPS -- unless it's on a "surge only" outlet.
#2 - No cable? Are you out of your mind? Go to the freakin' 99 Cent store and pick one up. By your logic nearly every printer on the market is a "deal killer" since most do not come with a cable.
Please have some idea of what you're talking about before posting.
This was $100-$20 bacon$50 Visa gift card rebate = ~$20 total at Staples about a week ago. Still may be...
it's 119 - 20 - 40 rebate at staples.
newegg is better deal for right now
Crappy reviews at Amazon.
Consumable prices are higher than entry level HP (p1006). Go with the HP. Generics are easy(er) to find.
