bought one from amazon last week and while it benches higher than my 256G M4, I find overall daily performance differences to be negligible, although I replaced a 60g first gen Vertex with the 256G M4 in a netbook, and OMFG that little thing is on fire. I've never had laptop, let alone a netbook, that hauls as much arse as my little AO721 does now.
I have an old lenovo t400 centrino 2 that boots in under 30 seconds with this. This is a very slim drive too.
