So the 1000HE now has a hacked BIOS that runs in 1.7 and 1.9MHZ speeds. No need to use setfsb to overlock. I think not all units will run reliably at 1.9 but if you get higher speed RAM you stand a better chance at a stable 1.9 run.
does that allow the HE to run hulu without choking?
Hulu works well. Haven't tried netflix.
Samsung Netbooks are very well built. I haven't seen one in the store, but I have read the reviews and they review well.
I've got one of these, and with a 2GB RAM upgrade, it's DEFINITELY worth the money. The battery seems to last forever. The speakers aren't amazing, but it's also a netbook. Great keyboard as well. I've had one for 10 months, and at the time I paid $500 for it when they were hard to find. I don't regret it one bit.
