The deal with Dell couple weeks ago for the Sammy 2333 was way better then this. That was only $160+ vs this as $241. I say skip this and wait for the deal with DELL!

#2, keep in mind that this has a faster response time. The Dynamic contrast ratio is also alot higher (if that really means anything anymore). I got the 2333sw and am content with the monitor, although it is not great by any means (lots of backlight bleeding), but for 162, it was a good buy. Can anyone offer first hand experience with this monitor?

Can someone describe backlight bleeding? I got the dell a week ago and, to me, it appears nothing short of awesome.

Backlight bleeding occurs when the CCFL light source at the back of a LCD monitor is visible because the embedded LCD surface isn't blocking all of the light when displaying a dark/black screen. This is most noticeable at corners of the monitor.

it sucks if you watch movies in the dark, u'll notice that it's not quite black, but more of a dark purpleish color in the places where it's supposed to be black along the edges. Again, for 162 bucks, i'm not complaining about it, just thought i'd point that out in comparison to this monitor.
