Why would you say this is not a good deal? It is the best price I have seen.

The were $1400-$1500 at Sam's Club. Costco has this for $1800.

Samsung plasmas might give off an annoying buzz.

Good tv I had this model and returned for a 50 inch 860 because it was too big. It did not have the buzz but my new one did.. Called samsung and they serviced it. Buzz is gone. The price is good too I got it for 1400 and was excited about that price.

#6 is insane. I have a 54" HDTV Panasonic plasma and sit 5 feet away. Could have easily gone 58" but didn't have the money and had to buy it from Sam's Club before their lifetime return policy ended last November. When it craps out I am taking it back for a refund and buying a 3D Tv.

Also lying about Samsung servicing the TV. Samsung does not support their products even under warranty.

hey nineshot, how'd (where'd) you get the 860 for $1400? That's a sweetly thin screen... haven't seen a deal on these for a while.
