      i think this is the same camera a good friend of mine has--thats a steal of a price for this thing

      Bought this a few months ago at Fry's (local) for $177. Takes ok, not great, video. Easy to use. Like most cameras, date/time stamp info does not transfer when you copy files off the SD card. On this one, I'm not sure the date/time data is even still present in the files upon export. For some reason, unable to use files (which are .mp4 format) with Nero, even with the latter's license/patent activated.

      Wait until hd camcorder are around $300 or less, then buy one. It will be 10X's better.
