Basic drive. No extra features. Big rebate. Bad reviews on NewEgg. Great deal Ben.

Is ZipZoomFly the only seller stuck in the "rebate" game? Most retailers have dropped most rebates and are just selling product at decent prices. The only place I will buy a product that has a rebate is Staples. With them, I know I'm going to get the rebate check in a timely manner.

Hoops and Hurdles = increase revenue

I'm submitted a rebate for notebook cooler to Zipzoomfly and seems it be going well. I received an email message that they received the submission and are processing it. I think it is one of those Visa card rebates..

Rebate? Hate em! Unless its from Logitech. Logitech has been very fast and reliable with them lately.

I love the rebates. It's funny how everybody here always has a big problem with any rebate. My rebate file folder is almost 2" thick now and I've had a only a couple of bad ones. Follow the rebate terms and follow-up when necessary and you'll have no problem. Oh well.. Other's incompetence is my gain!

Rebates are ok if you are going to buy that product anyway. But not a reason to go get something.

I had a defective Lite-on DVD burner that didn't show it defect until it was too late to return the drive. The stink'in tray door would get stuck closed and refused to open. I finally had enough, and broke the darn thing. I was so tired of the malfunction that I'm still glad I broken it on purpose Smile

I murdered a Sony answer machine once also. The darn thing kept turning the volume to full when I wanted it to silently answer the phone. I eventually solve the problem by canceling my lane line phone service. I didn't feel it was worth the monthly cost to get calls from telemarketers..

You actually like rebates? Maybe you mean like the low price of an item even with taking a risk of a rebate.

This is ZZ rebate, not Samsung's. Who trusts ZZ?

I mean both. It's nice getting such a low price for something and it's fun getting money in the mail every few days. The prepaid cards are the best. No need to go to the bank to get cash. Just hand it to the cashier at Walmart, hardware store, restaurant or whereever else you happen to be.

I do. Got many rebates through them. No problems. I'll be getting another in 2 or 3 months for this DVD burner I just ordered.

I hate those prepaid visa/mc rebates. The only reason they exist is that the banks and processors weren't getting a cut of the rebate action when someone cashes a check.

zip zoom fly went out of their way to deny my two rebates and wouldn't allow me to resubmit. Even though they had scanned copies visible on their web site of my proof of purchase and receipt. I will never shop with them again ...
