This is more for a quiet(er)/slow(er) situation.

    Ex: DVRs, storage, homeservers, etc.

3yr warranty, at your door for $125, I've seen better deals, i've seen worse.

Just go for it, that way i'm not the only sucker. I just bought one about an hr ago.

Also, ignore "brand" debates. Model #'s matter more than brands. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you don't. It's part of the game.

Same $/GB as the 1.5TB drive from Newegg.... Why not go to a higher capacity for the same cost / GB? Just dropped one of the new 1.5TB drives into my DVR. 200 hours of HD storage...

#5, #2: why do you think that this drive is slower? From what I've read, this is the fastest 1TB drive on the market, due to its high data density.

#7, why don't you copy and paste what you've read elsewhere and pass it off as your own like you normally do? *smirk*

#8: please point out where I have ever done this.

also, I'm curious as to why you haven't accused me of working for Samsung yet. According to your posts, I've already worked for Hitachi, Sandisk, and Seagate. Whenever I recommend a product a couple times, you're usually quick on the draw to say that I'm working there. So, where's the accusation? I feel like I'm on a role here, let's see if I can get to work at all the major storage companies. Wink

Oh what a surprise, CompWiz's IP address is resolving to Gateway's marketing department, and here he is recommending his company's inferior products again. Pathetic. *smirk*

Wow, CumJizz17 even plagiarized post #11! I just checked and sure enough, his IP address resolves his copy and pasting direct to the marketing department of one of OCZ's rivals. *smirk*

The sad part is that m0f0 has still not been able to secure any form of gainful employment. His only position is his self proclaimed "bensbargains product maven" status, which he maintains from his parents basement. Perhaps if he spent less time on here trolling the forums, and more time getting a college education...
