The curious thing is Seagate now considers these legacy drives, presumably any manufacturing capacity Samsung has is making Seagate labeled drives so the question is: To have these available now, where they holding back stock and only pretending there was a shortage due to the flooding?
For most people, 5400rpm is going to be fine in a NAS. Why not spend the 10-20 bucks and get 2TB instead of 1TB? That's my thought...
