Is this the same hard drive that was posted like on Tuesday that got all the negative comments on it regarding the ONE YEAR WARRANTY? I mean this drive does not have a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on it does it? Because if the hard drive had a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on it and I am not sure if it does have a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on it then it would be laughable. Anyone know?

    I Can Wait.

Hard drive boycott officially on. Lower your prices.

When searching on the ONE YEAR WARRANTY for this hard drive I found this other post (and yes this drive has a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on it):

"The flood excuse is getting a bit long in the tooth. It happened 7 months ago...there has been plenty of time to get manufacturing capacity back online. The primary reason prices have not come down is not because of the flood effects, but because of hard drive manufacturer consolidation. With only two manufacturers on the market now, Seagate (Samsung) and Western Digital (Hitachi) they do not have any incentive to lower prices, and now that they know the public is willing to pay much higher prices for HDDs expect the high prices to stay. The same lack of competition is driving warranty lengths down. It's a bad time to buy HDDs right now. High prices and short warranties are nothing to be excited about. Hopefully the market will force prices down in the next few months."
