Specs look pretty good, nice to finally see a 1920x1200 res monitor. I've got a Samsung 213T that I'm looking to eventually replace with a widescreen 1920x1200 version. Any experience with this monitor?

If you only need a monitor, you could do better for cheaper. However, the fact that this can tune standard and hi def cable is what makes this a great deal. For a dual-purpose device, or as a cheap tv, it's awesome. The TV doesn't have a lot of advanced features, but it has all you need for a kitchen, bedroom, dorm room, etc. It has a remote, HDMI and coax inputs, etc. The only other thing you need to know is that the speakers sound poor out of the box, but adjust the equalizer in the menus and all is fine.

Bought one. As #2 pointed out, it's a pretty good price. Probably not the best monitor nor the best TV out there, but based on the reviews I've read on newegg and amazon, it's a good dual purpose monitor/tv. Samsung makes quality monitors and TVs and I expect that this one should be the same. The ToC makes the TV look nice even when it's not on. Also, I've been reading more and more than the x1200 resolution is becoming obsolete despite the fact that the extra height pixels make for a better monitor. Mine should be here by mid-July (estimated shipping by Dell). I'm excited!

Got one as well.... cheapest its been in the past two months. I had to pay tax in Texas but still came out cheaper than the next best deal that was $290 from buy.com. It says that it will ship in 1-2 weeks.... estimated arrival on the 17th. Are they really firm on the 2 weeks or will they usually ship earlier??

Crap, Dell just pushed the estimated delivery date back to mid-August! That's a whole month more than the originally delivery date! I'm tempted to cancel this order. Dell needs to get on the ball.
