The SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB are nice thumb drives and they work fine under XP. I have a couple. BEWARE - they don't work under Vista. SanDisk tech support is indifferent and says it may release a Vista driver in the future.
They only cease working under Vista if you keep U3 installed, by the way. If you remove it, it works just like a regular drive.
Sandisk is not only somewhat indifferent to the problem, they have also stated that certain revisions of the USB drive will NEVER work under Vista. So... You may be SOL if you want to use U3.
I removed U3 from mine and installed PortableApps. Far superior. Faster startup time, open source software... The only reason I can see sticking with U3 is if you simply must have one of the applications that is only published for it.
