FYI, Sandisk MP3 players had a recent firmware update that made their devices only compatible with Sandisk SD cards, when the devices originally worked with any sd card. I experienced this with the SansaExpress(great player BTW) for my girlfriend, only to have the device crash with a kingston card in it. Here is a thread with some similarly frustrated customers. Beware this company!

That's hardly surprising. I wonder how all the foolish Sansa fanboys will spin this hypocrisy. *smirk*
Rockbox doesn't care what kind of card you get as long as the hardware is compatible. I hear even SDHD cards work *(but have not tried myself).
good point #3, lets buy a product that requires a third party firmware update to operate properly and risk bricking the device in the process. GOOD PLAN! If only there was some sort of company that made products that work the way they should...
