The last time I tested a Sandisk 32GB micro SD, it's write speed (sustained, large blocks) is just barely over 4 GB (4.3 MB/s, to be exact). If you're filling that with MP3 and movies, it's going to take over 2 hours.
On the other hand, read speed is decent, and playing back pretty much anything is not a problem as long as your device can handle it.
