Ben psyched us out.
to bad they're not microSD
This would have been a great deal but they changed the price.
Gone. Pull this deal Ben!
The prices he posted look like three separate purchases each using the $10 coupon code. Does anyone think that will work?
That's not it... I don't get it, either. I guess I'll just join the crowd of disgruntled lookers-on.
screw sandisk for using the visa prepaid cards - they suck. send me a check and i'll start buying sandisk products with a rebate again... but not until then.
If I bought the ritz camera deal w/ rebate can I also get the rebate for these?!
major rebates needed and they may not work in your device.
#18 - where can I get Class 6 16GB cards at less than $30 without rebates?
#29: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&Description=16GB%20SDHC&bop=And&Order=PRICE
Above link seems to get screwed up by Ben's crappy coding, but basically go to newegg.com and search for 16GB SDHC - you'll find a few pretty well rated ones as low as $26 bucks shipped. If you want to deal with a rebate, there's a Patriot 16GB SDHC card (PSF16GSDHC6) there for $24 AR (including $4 shipping).
Now, I'm pretty happy with the Extreme III cards that I already have, but I haven't had trouble with Ridata, Adata and Transcend (except Transcend welches on their warranty obligations IMHO).
Sandisk has the right to charge a premium if they wish, and I'll take the hassle of dealing with a rebate to get them ultra-cheap, but this bait-and-switch with Abes of Maine using Ben's to drive traffic there makes me just want to HATE on both of them. If Ben's going to be a shill for these sorts of scammers, there are plenty of other deal sites available.
(though Ben's is the funniest)
Who did the math on this deal? They need to get a refund on their education if they can't figure out simple grade school addition and subtraction. Three $50 4GB Extreme IV CF cards is not $110. My niece is 6 and she can figure that out.
EXPIRED (come on Ben, let's get with it)
Newegg has 4GB Transcend 4GB for $6.49.

#33- yes. basic 4GB cards have been available for around that price for a while. The high-end, class 6, 4 and 8+GB cards are the topic here.
But it turns out that the real news is that Abes of Maine isn't as honest as their reviews would lead you to believe.
Ben is apparently too busy xmas shopping with all his dough to update this post from "deal" to "burp merchant scambait." Usually his crew doesn't let this stuff fester. He should ban these "Apes of Pain" scammers. I'm heading over to Bizrate to give them a few low scores right now.
damn wish this deal would come back!
Oh yeah... now these scambags want $50 apiece for the 8GB SDHCs. Ben, ban 'em.
Fack Rebates!
