I got one of these 4GB Cruzer micro drives a while ago, and it's worked great. The slide-in design is a lot nicer than a cap(which always gets lost). Also, it seems to be fairly durable. Mine has been through the washing machine and dryer a couple times, and it's still working fine.
Just to note, I did remove the U3 soon after I got it because I had to use it to do a BIOS update on a computer I was working on.
Have the 1GB, identical in every other way, and it's a great drive. Small, durable and no cap. The ring that this comes with is a bit suspect so I decided not to put it on a keychain. Besides, would you want to have your keys dangling off this thing when plugged in? Fully writes 1GB of files (pictures) in about 7-8 minutes if I recall. It could be 11-12 but fast enough I'm sure for most users.
I have one of these, got for 29 last black friday, so this is a good price. I agree, this is a good little drive, and removing U3 is probably not a bad idea, I don't use it at all.
Not a bad price for a pretty good drive.
Good drive. Computer reads the flash drive really quick. Highly recommended for quick transfer of files.
all gone says the website
U3 is thoroughly ::meh::, but I like my drive, don't know if it's worth the premium you pay over other brands, though.
I have this drive. Got it for $24 at Circuit City on black Friday. It is a great drive.
