Sandisk Cruzer sucks. I have a 8GB that I had re-format at least 10 times and lost the data each and every time.

I have had several Cruzers in 8,16gb... my biggest gripe is that the huge blinking ORANGE light get tiresome and ANNOYING very fast.

Overall quite decent speeds
28MB Read / 8 Write

Compared to SuperTalent Pico-C 30MB/sec read, (slow)6MB/s write

using CrystalDiskMark 100MB Sequential
