I see EVERYONE is now posting comments so they can qualify for the new contest Ben is running... If I hadn't already posted several hundred other useful comments I might do the same. Good luck EVERYONE!
Here's a review:

Budman, it seems you've only posted at most 102 useful comments (since this one here is hardly useful). This seems like a pretty crappy $/Gb on this. Two 4Gb drives would be a better deal, unless you want to carry DVD .iso's around with you.
#3 The idea is that you can carry just ONE usb drive instead of having to carry two!
at least it looks good, right?
8gb is massive. Will hold everything except those massive powerpoints
8 GB is nice! i
m just not impressed with the U3 that some of those come with . if it does be fore warned U3 can really get messed up if you use it on a win98 machine
or if you don;t "eject" the FD properly
true, but you can buy 4 4GB drives for the same price. Hell a few bucks more an you can get a 160GB 2.5" external hard drive. As cool as these things are, they are occupying an increasingly small niche
Wow you have powerpoints that go past 8GBs??!
Also does this have that retractable head? I love that thing
You can get a passport for close to this price, just a little more. It is nearly just as portable, but can store much more stuff.
Bitterbeer et al, just FYI (I'm sure many already know), the U3 software can be removed by uninstalling it from the flash drive. Sometimes you need to download the uninstaller from U3's website to do so as most of the drives themselves don't have an option to uninstall the U3 software on it.
faster than my external HD
Ok, 102. Got me... I wasn't knocking anyone but the number of posts for each item is certainly WAY more than I have seen here in the past. Again, nothing mean intended. Just interesting what a few prizes will do for the comment generation is all...
Does this work with the Vista power cache (superfetch?) stuff? I forget what its called as none of my thumbdrives qualify.
This one would meet ReadyBoost requirement.
Great product. Buy two.
