This unit worth the money!
Especailly buy bunch of micro SD's and carry all your songs along.
plus you have a handy voice recoder, and a radio!
Life is good.
I believe that if you put Rockbox on this, you can use Micro SDHC cards if you have the v1 of the c200. v2 C200's apparently support SDHC with the Sansa firmware.
is this one rockboxable?
#4, Yes
This is an even better deal than the sansa express one that got so much attention! $15 for a 2GB mp3 player w/radio and some nice features, or for $10 more make it a 6GB player with a micro SD/SDHC card.
#4,
Assuming that this is v1 then it is. I don't believe that the v2 models are.
Because this is recertified, I'm guessing that its a v1...however, it is a guess.
not as good as an ipod nano, but for the price this thing is hard to beat. @ $15 this is a good stocking stuffer.
looks nice. I'm in.
Can somebody provide good links and info to rockbox it?
Thanks
sweet deal.
I like the one from yesterday because it has a usb connector on it, this one uses a proprietary cable that I would definitely lose.
#9,
just download and read through the manual for the Sansa c200 series: http://www.rockbox.org/manual.shtml
The install was pretty straight forward on my Sansa e200 and I've been using Rockbox for about 3 months now. If you don't care for Rockbox, you're able to uninstall it as well.
My parents bought a couple of these refurb ones and haven't had any issues with them. They seem to work great. Rockbox is also a very attractive add-on ... usually sounds better than the stock firmware, and has way more options.
In for a stocking suffer for the kid. "Oh, you wanted a Nano? I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood."
rockbox adds mp3 recording, bookmarking, many useful apps, games. small, had it since winter, bought refurb for $15 after gco. no issues with player or rockbox.
Is there a feature in Rockbox to limit the volume? I'd like to get one for kid but want to limit the volume to protect ears.
Nice, getting 3 for gifts.
This thing need the special cable to recharge.
The other sansa for $15 has a usb port but it is only 1G..
went ahead and got 2.
very nice, got 1
