I got one last time this deal came around. It works OK, but the cons of the unit don't make it that great a deal. Apart from them, it's a perfectly adequate tag-aware player, though. Cons:
      1. The selection highlight bar on the LCD is hard to see unless you look at the LCD at an angle.
      2. If you have inserted a micro-SD card with music on it, the player will rebuild the database each time its turned on.
      3. The amplifier is on the weak side if you want to use large headphones (but is OK for earbuds)
      4. The player can only be charged using the usb cable which has a proprietary connector, so if you lose it you have a little bricklet.

Get the "E" series for nearly the same amount of $$, more features and less buggy.

Bought this a few weeks ago from buy.com. It was the V2 model which is NOT rockboxable. Shame, cause it is a nice little player in other respects. I did update to the latest fw, and thought I had bricked it, but with a bit of fooling around it started working again. Not sure what exactly I did to get it working.
