A nice little mp3 player. I bought one for my in-laws a while back and they haven't had any problems with it. You might want to look around for the 4GB version as 2GB is kinda small.

Is this extendable with microSD like the other Sansa's?

No, it's very lightweight, about the same size and weight as a small matchbox. (without the clip, which adds a bit to the thickness)

I kept mine in my condom/change pocket that most jeans have and there was plenty of room to spare.

Great little player and good for the price. I have one as an alternative to carrying around my Ipod Touch. Just clip it onto my jacket and good to go!

Got two for the kids last year, very hardy little units. Had one make it in the washer and clank in the dryer. The wife powered it up and it lite up... that was the wrong thing...
Oh well... said next time don't do anything except seal in a jar of rice for a couple of days to draw out all the moisture slowly. It might have worked but phosphates in the detergent would have played havoc later with the thing. It work better for water only.

I suggest buying a silicone skin to help keep the moisture out. It seems susceptible to moisture and will stop working for awhile until it dries out. (and guys...no...not that kind of moisture).

      #5, that's called a watch pocket. It's not a condom pocket.

Got this last time up on woot for $5 more. Very good sound quality. Plug & Play simplicity. Doesn't do Rockbox.

#12, it's called a change pocket, but who cares, I think $5 was making a joke.

The truth is there is no real name for the pocket.

Looks like a killer deal to me, seeing how a refurbed one was on sale the other day for $29 at newegg.

      That's the "change" pocket, buddy.
Nice deal, but I'm satisfied with the MP3 player I've got.

great price for a great player. now supports FLAC. Great sound quailty but you'll need premium phones to realize it. no expansion slot. Just got a second as a back up...perfect for the gym or doing yard work...

      4gb (not refurb) is $60 at buy.com

      http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=207506262&listingid=33963831&dcaid=17902

they are showing a silver in the pic... if it really comes in silver, i think that's better color than any of these shown on woot's page
