I have a couple of these... they are great little MP3 players. Surprisingly, they produce extremely clean sound compared to other MP3 players (well as clean as MP3 can get). Pair these with a decent pair of earphones and you are set. The only problem I have with these is that there is about a half second pause between FF or RW. Doesn't sound so bad until you need to move 20 tracks down... then it gets a little annoying. Other than that its great and I would definitely recommend to others.

#2 is also delusional, the 2GB is $45 @ walmart and there is no 8GB version sold there at all.

the 2GB fuse doesn't have the high sound quality.

#5 Sorry, #2 and I should have added that that it will vary by store. If you'd like, I'll post a shot of it, from my little hole in the midwest, but it's there. You're right though, it's also not listed online. I didn't realize 'til this that Walmarts do that.

I highly doubt anyone got the ~$100 8GB version for $49, even @ the great wal mart.

go check your local store it's there for the past 2 weeks. If you don't believe me go check Sandisk official forum. Many people got it at this price.

#2 & #3 Thanks for the tip; I just phoned the local WalMart and learned they have plenty of 8GB Sansa Clips in stock. This weekend I'll be going there to do half of my Christmas shopping.
