I like to wear it on my collar and when I work out and get into a full sweat it stops working.

I have had to replace 2 of them already. Each of them just stopped working. Customer service wasn't too bad with replacing them.

Unfortunately, there are not many alternatives that have a clip in such a small form factor.

But when it works, it's not bad

after the 1st replacement, you'd think that you'd be smart enough to not break it the same way twice

The battery only lasts for about 4 hours normally. Sound quality is fine with good headphones. If you can live with the short use time then it's a good buy. Personally I'm going for a Cowon iaudio next time. I bought this last BF for under $40 for the 2GB model. Color me shocked but I just bought my wife a 4GB Sony Walkman MP3 player on clearance for under $50. Despite being pink the sound is just awesome and the batt runs for days.

4 hours? My 2gb sansa clip lasted much longer than that, at least 8.

Same situation as #1, it will die each time you work up a sweat.
      It hates moisture.
But all it takes to resurrect it is to let it dry out or use a hair dryer to speed up the process.
It's a shame since it's so light, my other sansa the e250 doesn't have this problem.
