I have a refurbished one as well, it runs well. Except video playback (I'm not sure if it's my player, since it's refurbished). The audio can't keep up with the visual. the screen's way too small to watch movies anyway so it wasn't much of a problem for me but an annoyance to some.

Mine's been working great for 6 months, just beware the headphone jack, the circuit bard is a little weak there...
