Sansa > smelly turd > iPod
I have the 2 Gig version, love it and no I-tunes required!
Great for music but if your going to be viewing video's more then 20% of the time I would go with something like a sub $100 ZEN with a larger screen.
I just picked up a Philips SA6045 for $40. http://www.outlet.philips.com/b2c_redesign/b2c/productdetail.do?PID=1225267&productguid=4191384020DB008D0828BD47246225CA412DC01C30828BD4B2&productarea=4191384020DB008D0828BD472&scenario=catalog&shop=OUTLET&AID=10303851&SID=sduidp0t0

Even the Philips is way superior than ipod.
rockbox, rockbox! but...$80 is still a bit pricey for a 4gb - though it isn't refurbed
Pay $10 more ($89.99) at Amazon and get the Sansa e280 8GB version with free shipping.
i won't be buying anything sansa for a while.
Sansa is made in china, just like those rail cars that crashed injuring 400 people. Would you really want that on your conscious?
*&^* You may wish you never started this,
Sailor67--- I have one too and since sansa undated the O\S it is almost instant on, no wait for loading music. Load your mp3's and go. No clunky interface software is needed to use this device. Act's as a memory card would (HD) when attached to a computer.

#10, I'm doing a report on traumatic brain injury and you are the ideal candidate. Would you submit to an interview?
