Watch out Buy.com try to get you to pay for expedited shipping by including it automatically on the invoice -- deceptive practice. They charged me extra for shipping and seven days later, no package?
This thing is a real beauty, if you're looking for a music player with radio. I expanded mine to 12gb for $20 more.
#1 needs to die!
#3 ripped off #1 FYI.
Apparently buy.com has tricked #1 the same way about 45 times in a row.
Good deal on the Fuze, or the black 4GB is also $35.

#5 will #1 learn on the 46th go around?
$35 is only an average price for a refurb.
Patience #3 - we will all die.
4GB used to cost $40 not $35 at buy.com, with some places like Newegg asking $45... and that for the black, the red featured here used to cost even more. Pricing history:

I've read that they use a different audio chip on this, as compared to the Sansa Clip, and that the Fuze doesn't sound as good as the Clip. Anyone with any first-hand experience?
#1, please tell us more about buy.com... are you saying you didn't select a method of shipping so they automatically used the MOST EXPENSIVE method??? OH MY GOD!!! You should post that every chance you get!!! Oh wait, that would be advertising that you are a tool...
I've heard the same what #9 said, anyone can comment on that??
Same chip as Clip. You can get more info about it at http://www.anythingbutipod.com
Basically, Fuze is in every way as good as clip plus limited video playback and a better screen, larger battery. Downsides of Fuze is (normally at retail) slightly higher price, slightly larger size (maybe too big to clip to a shirt sleeve or neck), and the proprietary data/charge port which requires the included (or a generic clone) Sandisk cable instead of the standard miniUSB port the Clip uses.
I own a Clip and liked it till the battery failed, then I hacked it to run off 3 x NiMH cells. When it's replaced I'll go with Fuze... Clip is really TOO small for me, maybe a kid with little fingers won't mind how small it is as much as a full sized adult.
