no such deal on woot today.
WTF Ben!
We're tricked.
Use the 'Click Here' link and it'll be at the bottom of the page. It's on sellout.woot.com.
I bought one last night, it also includes FedEx 2-day air.
No naitive ogg support, no rockbox as of yet, no dice!
not a bad price still...better than below 8gb for $50 or so
I have the 8GB version. The firmware is still a little buggy, but the major problems have been fixed in the latest firmware updates. It's definitely still a good deal though for such a low price, and hopefully it'll be rockboxable soon enough (people are working on it, but I have no idea how long it will take).
Features:
-16GB memory
-Micro SD/SDHC slot
-FM Tuner w/ autoscan and 20 preset slots
-Video/Pics
-2.4" 320x240 resolution screen
-Nice interface w/ click wheel thingy
-Good format support, but you'll want to get Any Video Converter to convert your videos, because the sansa converter is slow.
-It has some chapter browser thing for audio books but I never tried it.
Sold Out!
This deal is going on at SELLOUTWOOT.com not woot.com. It was still going on at the time I entered this.
Overstock.com has the exact same item (refurbished) for $80
I ordered one but it charged me tax! I'm in Texas.
This is a great deal. Grab it if you see one at this price again. My only complaint is its short battery life (2 hour)per charge.
OOS
I have a 4 gig version. I use the radio for over 8 hours before recharging. Does playing music use more juice?
#14 he was probably referring to video battery time but I'm pretty sure I've watched more than 2 hours worth on 1 charge.
