Got it for about $75 last year...I must have gotten lucky with a decent unit: battery life is great, few minor cosmetic scratches, all the usual little problems and bugs that the View is famous for (like duplicate track titles), but jeez for that price, 16GB plus a microSDHC slot? Great deal.
And despite my homelessness, no strangers have peed on me yet. Sure I've peed on myself, but that's doesn't count.
This week is Sandisk Sansa week!they're just getting better and better...First started with 1,2,4,8 and now 16GB.I am in favor with the View 8GB.

Geez, MILF_Hunter really likes to Ipods. He seems to post the same message everytime a Sansa player is posted. Personally, I'd rather get a Zune over an Ipod. Both the Zune and the Sansa are mp3 and Windows Media Player playlist compatible. Bothe Zund and the Sansa have an FM tuner built in as well
Good deal, but I'm not an ecost fan. My touchscreen phone has craploads of memory and plays MP3s just fine anyway.
Rockbox is supposed to be out for the View soon. Solve all the problems? I have a View and it works great for what I paid for it.

had refurbished.. broke down, got new... broke down... ipod is next
how are these? i just won a 8GB one from a web drawing. just got it but trying to decide if i should keep it or sell it. i already have a 8GB iphone, so seems kind of pointless but I still havent' put a single video or mp3 on it as i hate freaking itunes. refuse to let it touch my system. so I have it all filled up with about 6GB of apps.
