      Bunch of jokers .. never again would I buy from eCOST. Their MIR is a joke. The joke is on you. No amount of talking to them would work. Even if this offer is without any MIR, I do not trust them anymore. Adios.

      What rebate? I got one of these from them and it works great. You may be right about rebates and returns with eCost but I didn't have any problems. At this price I took a chance and won. Will have to look into the firmware issue mentioned above. It's always a good idea to not update firmware right away until others have proven it out and it offers something you actually need. Always turn off any auto update features. I have heard these are rockboxable even though they aren't listed on the RB website. Haven't tried it yet but I have RB'd Ipods.
