Here we go again. Where is MILF pushing the superiorities of the Ipod?

if this was not a refurb it would be a nice deal. I was impressed by this device, of course your kids will ask for the iPod as none of their friend who are cool have this. So beware it is for the person who buys it..

Whatever on Milf. Have the 16gb and it works great. Not perfect, nothing is, but at this price nothing to complain about.

Spend a little extra money and get a vastly superior product:

      http://www.amazon.com/Apple-iPod-classic-Black-Generation/dp/B001F7AHXM/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1241539874&sr=8-1

      4.5 stars out of 5.

Note that this product is only 3.5 stars out of 5, plus it makes you look homeless.

You're less likely to get mugged if you look homeless.

You're also more likely to get urinated on if you look homeless.

If you actually PREFER an iPod, fine, but buying one because it's what everyone else has is unreasoning, sheep-like behavior. That's the example you want to set for your kids?

Better sound quality than Ipod, has sd slot, fm, love the equalizer and since it is cheaper it leaves you money to buy clothes and food, looking less like a homeless person. If you can't make an intelligent decision base on your own research and you rather go with what the marketers with big money tell you to go with, then follow their leader and get their IPOD= Ignorant Person Or Deadhead. IPOD lovers just tell me why you think they are better base on facts. For more informed decisions research sites like CNET where they conduct their own research and compare the products and then decide on your own.

Could the Sansa View display the tags (artists, albums, song titles, etc.) in Chinese characters while keeping the menu in English? The Sansa e200 could not, yet the Sansa Clip could.

#10, maybe your link to CNET differs from mine, but I don't see the Sansa View listed on their "top 5 mp3 players" list. I DO see the iPod Touch and iPod Nano, though. Consumer Reports ranks them higher than the View as well... It's quite possible that some people actually believe the iPod is a superior product, and aren't just following the crowd. I hate iTunes, but my Nano is a much better piece of electronics than my Sansa (which I use in the gym because I don't care if I drop it).

      Food for thought.

I own a Zune 30gb, the iphone 3g 16gb, the sansa clip 1gb, and a view 32gb, sansa e200 8gb, Nano 8gb, rio carbon 5gb, and other MP3s, I tried all of them same songs, same earbuds, hard workerand forth between them and can say that the Sansa Clip and the view offer far superior sound quality, the rio carbon comes in 2nd (sad they don't make them any more.) The zune I like for movies and the iphone I like for the applications and the phone(totally sucks for music) The clip is great for exercizing and sleeping. So if sound quality is your priority go with the Sansa view or clip depending on your needs. I haven't tried the Fuse or the Zens.

#13, I think you have an addiction. Maybe your family and friends should host an I-ntervention.

To each his own... My Sansa clip is great for the gym (fm transmitter), but any time i move the headphone jack, I get static. My Nano doesn't do this, so I pair it with great headphones and am happier with it when I want to truly hear the music...of course, the clip was 1/5th the cost of the Nano.
