I had two of these fail on me, the original and the RMA replacement. This time they replaced it with an Extreme series because even Sandisk realizes the ultra is a POS and multiple RMAs is costing them more money.

Since you posted, I have to post and say that I have four of these and they have all been just fine.

Ha,Ha.. I must have hurt his feelings. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers but I have call out idiocy when I see it. It's just too much fun. You all can read the reviews on the egg and other sites and decide for yourself if you want to get burned as well.

You seem to be the only one that thinks these drives are rodeo cowboy. I have my doubts about the reviews on Newegg because there are now too many trolls that aren't verified purchasers that are posting reviews on Newegg.

Again, I have four of them and they have been just fine. If that comment is of less use than "I've had two of them and they both died" then I fail to see why.

F all of you, Newegg, OCZ and your rebates.

I *must* work at Sandisk and I *must* think it's a conspiracy because I disagree with the one person who always posts that these drives are bad every time they come up.

    Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

And, for the record, I also have a Kingston drive and an Intel drive. The next drive is going to be a Samsung drive. I don't care as much about Sandisk as I do about trolls posting the same things over and over. I can be a troll too.
