Is the A?C adapter waterproof?
Only if it is plugged in #2. That activates the integrated water protection system.
Can I plug the AC Adapter into the electrical outlet I have inside the shower? Changing those two D batteries would be a hassle.
Are colors available? For instance a Golden Shower radio?

Looks nice, would've been nicer if it had a 2nd speaker for stereo and cost a wee bit less. Would've been even nicer if it took 4 x AA instead of 2 x D so I could slam some Eneloop NiMH into it.
I've had a portable Sangean radio since 1991 which I originally bought for use overseas. The sound is excellent for the size of the unit and it has held up well.
Agreed, #8. Sangean's a great brand. Very high quality sound and solid build. Might have to pick one of these up...
