It may or may not be possible to use with WinXP, Sans Digital shows no support, nor does Marvel for the chipset (on their website at this time, they may have removed info to lower their support costs developing new drivers for it) as it has native AHCI support in Win7 BUT floating around on the 'net are various versions of a SCSI mode driver for XP... search for 88SE9130 driver to find them. Here's one: http://www.drivers-download.com/Drv/Marvell/88SE9130/88SE9130_Windows_v01006.zip
... BUT, that doesn't let you know if the config and management software for windows will work with XP, though being described as a hardware class raid controller it should have a BIOS menu screen(s) for manual setup. Even so, seems more like an experiment rather than the right product to choose for use on WinXP.
doesnt say it works with XP, but does say it works with win7, etc.
