Sans Digital is an odd name for a company that makes computer products. Irony!
True #1, but you'd hook it up to a port multiplier capable controller that has RAID functionality. Not as ideal a setup since that binds the array to the SATA controller you use with it to not break a RAID0 or 5, but it does lower the cost.
