is this camcorder any good? looks pricey.. but it might be worth it if it is good..
Great camera. I own the 1080i model (the previous version) and I am very happy with it. Video quality is great, pictures are good, nothing to complain about.
Its quite a full-featured camera. There's a lot under the hood in such a small unit. Aux mic input, fast lense, can take photos while videoing without disturbing the video, great docking station/charger, cool Remote control. Startup time is a bit slow and you have to remove the lens cap. Tough to put in your pocket, though. It has electronic, but not optical stabilization. Not perfect, but decent deal at that price. The super macro mode does a great job and you can get very close to objects and it has fairly fast focusing. $hitload of cables come in the box, too.
