You can pick up 2 HIS hd 5770's(H577FM1GD) for $288 out the door at Newegg if bought at same time plus promo code-EMCMNNT82($20). That comes to only $144 a piece, nice. The hd 5770 crossfired outperform the hd 5850.
#1 -- Great Find! Went checking as it didn't make sense, but you're right when you add the second card you get another $8.99 "savings" on each and the code doubles from $10 to $20, which stacking isn't normally permitted. So $144 each and No Rebates!
And you're right with the lowest price on a 5850 at $315, opting for the Cross-Fire set-up for $288 is a good investment right today.
