I've seen these last month for $149. So how is this a deal?

The word since then is there no Dx11 Nvidia cards for consumers till end of Q1 beginning Q2. Plus initial 40Nm from TSCM has been less than stellar for ATI and Nvidia, so pricing has shot back-up on almost every gaming card. The good times are gone till maybe April.

#3 -- I'll ask... You needed this for your HTPC? ... Really why? Or, for $15 you'll spend time and money to return it? Again... Really why... do you think this is going to last at this price?

#3 if you are silly enough to go through with a return you are risking getting banned from Amazon. Google it. Many problem customers have been banned. Their reasoning is not clear cut as to how many "incidents" before they will ban a member so YMMV. You would be spending $8 to return this anyway for shipping. This card is overkill for an HTPC rig as #4 stated in not so many words. You can use a $25-$50 card for that. This card would be good enough for a serious gaming rig. Do not waste it in an HTPC.

Lots of people now mistakenly call their gaming PC a HTPC because it's hooked to the living room tele and can play videos too. You don't need a $25 to $50 card for HTPC necessarily, either nVidia's or ATI's current gen integrated video is quite sufficient given the motherboard has the right output ports per your gear.

Don't forget about that free 4GB flash drive, you can put 3000 floppies on that lol.
