Now here's another thing to consider, both manufactures aren't (from everything I've read) going to make 28Nm low-end cards like these this time around. Pricing on 28Nm and yield are looking so prohibitive it makes no sense for the gains they make in lower power, while look forward there’ll pretty much have any need to make such low-ends any longer on such newer fab processes. AMD might make something that complement their APU Hybrid Graphic's, but that's probably still a 40Nm part they’ll mix various new features for APU integration, with performance in a 6750/6770 range, while in Hybrid C-F it will get you above say a 7750.
So, if you think you might have need for a low-end HTPC, test part, or whatever in the future I’d consider this, as a good price to get something that’s not probably going to change much (though will march back up in price on “renames” on either side). This is a good time grab one for a low OoP cost, not much rebate while getting a nice reference clocked, 64-Bit, passive one slot, as AMD intended it.
#1 Thanks for the comment.. I was thinking the same thing. Got one This morning when it was posted. SAPPHIRE is the only company that give out little Logo sticker for every video cards made. Not that I need it, But is nice to have. I Just wish this was a 128bit.
