Same basic card as the XFX One ON-XFX1-PLS2 1GB 64-bit DDR3

I might say the XFX is nicer, check how the extrusion wraps around the PCB even more than the Sapphire, and is use screw not push-pins. However the Sapphire has a 1600Mhz effective memory clock vs. XFX at 1066Mhz, but in bandwidth it hardly matters at this level. The Sapphire include an extra VGA bracket if you plan on needing VGA in your SFF chassis.

Does it seem like the 5450 has been showing up as a deal more often than budget cards in the past?

Casecutter: I bought both (XFX & Sapphire). The XFX I got was the right model #, but it did not look like the NewEgg picture - the heat sink didn't wrap around at all and was noticeably smaller than Sapphire's. I also tried both on an older, upgraded Win 7x64 Dell Optiplex 330. WEI Sapphire: 4.6 Graphics, 6.1 Games. XFX: 4.2 Graphics, 6.0 Games.

The egg has really lowered itself to a new level in my opinion. Anything I am interested in, which is mainly computer related, has a rebate connected to it, and after reading time and time again how someone got screwed out of theirs, I have decided to just shop elsewhere.
Even when you do receive your "rebate". it comes as a cash card which they hope you will forget about so they can shortly eat up your funds, so either way, you get screwed.
Sorry egg, I have spent my last with you.

#4, there are a lot of master rebators that hang around here that are willing to help others successfully rebate. For instance, Dave is a big time master rebator; He rebates religiously and is always willing to share will others all his rebating tips and techniques. He has even stated that it only take him a few minutes of time to finish a rebate. Once you get the hang of how to rebate well, it's almost like the real thing (like you paying less in the first place). Don't give up too easily. Becoming a master rebator takes time and practice. Once you get a hang of it and find yourself a good master rebating rhythm, it will be fun and satisfying...

#5 Thanks for the story.. #4 I did over thousands of rebates and Win over 85% of the time.. You just got to stay ahead of the game.. You MUST WIN most of the time, or don't play..The best part about rebates for me is getting it for so less or FREE and you can profit from it.. And, Yes.. Spend it fast on cash card, They will eat up your funds fast.. Good Luck..

Thanks #6. Before I found Bens Bargain, I hardly rebated at all. If I saw something I wanted badly but it was just too expensive, a rebate would only sometimes push me over the edge to take the plunge. After joining Bens Bargain and seeing all the master rebators here and how much they enjoy it, I started rebating more and more. Sometimes more than once a day. At first I thought like #4 and didn't like rebating because of the frustration of not being able to actual get the reward , but then I found out how satisfying it could be to successfully get to the end of the rebate process by simply using a few new techniques. So now I rebate all the time now and whenever I get the urge to (which is a lot).

We should start a rebate club and run contests like who gets their rebate the fastest (artcab), group rebating competitions (rebate circles), and the best stories about rebating. Since Dave is the expert rebator around here, I think he should be known as the Supreme Master Rebator for the club...

Bens Bargains has to have one the largest concentration of master rebators around. It's really one of the big web sites for the master rebator...

OMG! I thought I was the only master rebator around. I felt so alone, so scared, so ashamed all these years. Now I know that I belong! Thank you everybody!

Yeah #8, don't be ashamed that you were a closet master rebator. You knew a good deal when you saw it and decided to go again the crowd and do the rebate even if there was a risk involved. To take matters into your own hands, so to speak. Dave taught me to always be on the look out for a good rebating opportunity. He's amazing in the amount of master rebating he does. Sometimes, when I don't even need the item, I just rebate for the fun of it... My Mom was concerned at first but now she accepts my master rebator behavior... Master Rebators are people too and the world is just going to have to get use to our presence from now on...

#3 - Good info on that heat -sink... although I'm surprise because normally Egg will do their own photos of the actual product, especially if there's more than one and a 360°). So yeah Id so pissed I could see myself making Egg take it back on their dime. Interesting on WEI scores the lower XFX Effective Memory Clock might be more perceptible than I would have thought.
Good you document and shared that... Thanks!
