I have one of these that works well, but the drive gets warmer than it should and I get a warning. The main drive in the laptop seems to get some air drug over it by the cooling fan that doesn't happen in the CD Rom drive bay. Mine is a Dell Latitude, may run cooler in another model if it fits.
