I have one of these. It may have excellent reviews, but it has a huge failing. There is a 2 amp supply for 12 ports. From the negative reviews, you can't even run 2 external hard drives! They even offered to give one reviewer a refund if he withdrew his negative review! Also, since it's a hub, the bandwidth is shared by all the plugged in devices. All that said, I'm OK with mine, but it has 2 failings that prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending it.
^ A fair criticism, though if it provided 500mA per port or more, simultaneously, the 6A+ PSU for it might cost $20 or more by itself.
