This only has a 2 amp power supply, so you can't use very many high power devices. You definitely can't use many devices which have high data rates, since this is a hub and everybody shares the bandwidth. Some reviewers reported that they couldn't use even one external hard drive, but I don't have that problem with mine.
^ That brings up something I've been wondering. If you have several USB2 devices plugged into a USB3 hub, will the hub to PC connection take advantage of USB3 throughput or would any USB2 device access cause USB2 rate transfers between the hub and PC ?
In other words would a USB3 hub allow full USB2 speed concurrent access of more than one USB2 device?
