Newegg has the Sceptre X240BV-FHD 24" 16:9 2ms 1080p LCD HDTV for $250 + $0 shipping = $250 shipped. Features a 1080p resolution, 2ms response time, 1000:1 native contrast ratio and 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, and 178 degree horizontal viewing angle.
evidently these have alot of stuck pixel problem and yes i have a line across my screen too. i gotta change the resolution and back or power on and off the monitor to be fine but over all im really satisfied with this monitor. esp for its price. i paid 240 for this 6 months back. doesn't this monitor go under 200 sometimes?
Costco has the higher resolution version (1920x1200) for $200 with free shipping.
For monitors with a known high rate of stuck pixels, I'd avoid Newegg, as their monitor return policy is horrible, as well as costly to the customer. If you're not a Costco member, for this same $250, you could get a better monitor AND join Costco for a year.
