$22/bottle... that's more like it. I usually don't like to pay less than $30 for a bottle of wine, but am willing to make an exception this time. I laugh at all those clueless rodeo cowboy that think that you can buy a decent bottle for less than $10. That's just dumb.

I ordered from them before thru Ben's and got on their mailing list. They sent me this offer two days in a row -- except that it was a 12 bottle minimum for free shipping. Guess this is a Ben's Bargain even though the discount is only $2.

m0f0 is really clueless. Her parent are defaulting mortgage payment and their house is about to be seized by the bank. Here she is, buying $22/bottle wine and enjoying listening to her pink ipod and iphone. What she really should do is start shopping on tent as her permanent home.

#8---This is a good deal if you are legally allowed to purchase and you REALLY enjoy the wine.
May I suggest a trip to your local wine shop and a recommendation from the proprietor?

$22 for a bottle!? Are f'in you kidding me? I'll let you folks in on a secret. BEER == WINE! That's right. Beer and wine are the same thing. The only difference is the price and them fancy names "they" come up with for wine. Who is "they" you ask? Well, the French of course! It's all some sort of conspiracy. To what end, I don't know. But I am going to find out. In the meantime we should stop using the French word wine and use Freedom Juice instead.

    Viva la Freedom Juice!

#8 - Bordeaux wines can be some of the best. At $2 off $24 this seems like a marginal deal. $22 for a Bordeaux is low-mid priced. I could not find a review of this wine, but the producers' other products seem to be in the lower tiers.

Let's keep the French words. The French knew that "Iraq WMD" = "BS".

Combining this wine with the dozen free donuts from Krispy Kreme is the equivalent of just slipping m0f0 a rufee.

Go to K&L Wines website. http://www.klwines.com/

(No, I don't work there. I'm just a customer that likes their attitude.)

They are a discount shop in the SF Bay area. They carry some of the best wines in the world

They'll ship anywhere in country. Have very knowledgeable staff. Not at all snobbish. They're happy to talk to anybody.

They can provide a dozen recommendations for very nice wines at less that $15.

Mofo, actually, the first vintage of The Pillar Box Red was $8.99 when I bought two cases. Parker rated it a 93, and the second vintage, that was $9.99 a bottle was rated 92. The parallel 45 Cote Du Rhone was rated above a 90 by Parker and was $9.99 a bottle, it may have gone up another dollar or two.
While it is more difficult to find a great bottle for less than $10, especially with the dollar crapping itself compared to the Euro, it is by no means impossible. The only thing keeping me from being a sommelier at this point that I haven't yet gone to take the test. I rarely spend over $20 on a bottle, I'll let others do that then offer me a taste or a glass.

Aside from that, the '05 vintage from Bordeaux is fantastic overall. The early tastings that I went to left me overall very impressed. That was a few months ago, before the wines were really available, and while very you, the vintage shows signs of being one that will produce many spectacular bottles.
