That's a pretty cheap deal for a 1gb external. I wonder if the drive inside is SATA?

Target had them for $60 bucks. If you buy at Staples, find a coupon code 25 bucks off 75. That's what I did.

    I'd be surprised if this wasn't sata inside. i've seen some 500gb ide's but I don't remember a 1TB IDE.

#9. I got it from a buddy. I just looked on ebay and they have a few out there. You can buy it for $2 but you'll end up saving more. This makes the deal better than Targets. I also did this for the $399 laptop today and the coupon worked. So I saved $50 using two coupons (two different transactions).

By the way...I have been logging hard drive prices for the past two months and I have not seen a deal better than 6 cents per gig. The coupon code method I explained above is the only way I bought cheaper.

I bought Seagate 1.5 TB Expansion External Hard Drive today from Office Depot (in-store purchase only) for $100. I got the extra 500 GB cheaper by just $5, if you do the computation.
